Tranängskolan F-6 is a school with approximately 425 students located in Tranemo. Tranängskolan is a workplace where employees thrive and stay. Teacher qualification is almost 100%, and through collegial learning, work teams collaborate for higher goal fulfillment. We strive to be a school where every student is given the opportunity to develop as far as possible and actively work with school development regarding the learning environment. The school has a highly competent student health team that includes special educators, special teachers in Swedish and mathematics, a counselor, a school nurse, and a psychologist. We are the municipality's training school for VFU students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for music education for grades 2-6. Teaching will take place in full classes in grades 2 and 3 (with a resource) and in half classes in grades 4-6 (approximately 11-13 students). The music room is very well equipped to provide opportunities for creative and varied teaching. The job responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in your subject both individually and in collaboration with work teams and other colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed music teacher, preferably with a few years of experience. You have a good ability to work with singing and various genre-specific elements. You feel confident in working with ensemble playing and have a good knowledge of instruments when it comes to chords and melody playing. Composition and music history are areas in which you can inspire students, and you work for various musical expressions.

You are flexible and have good collaboration skills, easily creating good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader and have the ability to create a working environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, strong subject knowledge, a clear structure, and varied teaching tailored to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the assessment criteria in LGR 22.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for someone qualified to teach music in grades 2-6.
